16 Feb RCTC Upgrades Campus Lighting with Alliance™ Fiberglass Light Poles
When Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) began planning the replacement of aging steel light poles across campus, they were looking for more than a short-term fix. The goal was a long-lasting solution that could reduce maintenance demands while performing reliably in Southeastern Minnesota’s outdoor conditions.
Alliance Fiberglass Light Poles proved to be a strong fit for the project. The replacement project incorporated both Alliance anchor base and direct burial pole options, highlighting the flexibility of fiberglass poles across varying site conditions and project requirements. In areas where existing anchor bolt locations were available, anchor base poles were utilized to simplify installation and streamline the upgrade process while minimizing disruption on campus. Direct burial poles were used where site conditions required in-ground installation, providing a durable and adaptable solution without the need for foundations.
